Find a Project
The 4-H Family Guide is your place to connect to our entire collection of Ohio 4-H project books for the year. Each project book contains information and activities for members to explore as an organized group project or at home under the guidance of a parent or interested adult. When choosing a project, consider your interests, background, what is necessary to start the project, and the resources available to help you complete it.
Project Books
- Club order. You can place an order with your club advisor, and they will turn in a club order to be filled by our office staff.
-
Buy online. Families can order directly from extensionpubs.osu.edu. The cost of books is more, but the books would be shipped directly to your home.
-
Make your own. Self-determined projects are an excellent choice for self-motivated members eager to get started by creating their own projects. There are many idea starters to choose from or you can create your own.
Project Central is an easy way for 4-H members and project helpers to preview Ohio 4-H project books and resources. Take a closer look at a project book, find out what others have to say, and share your experiences. Once you access Project Central, you can easily browse projects based on skill level or topic area. Once you find a project that interest you, be sure to place a book order with your club advisor.
